Assoc.Prof. Wei Wang, Xidian Unversity, China

WANG Wei received his B.Sc.and M.Sc. degrees in applied mathematics in the year 1991 and 1995，and Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing in 1999，from Xidian University. Then he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong for one year. In 2001, he joined in the Xidian University as an associate professor at School  of  Telecommunications  Engineering. He has published more than 30 papers and served as a reviewer of many international journals in the fields of image engineering, artificial intelligence. For many years, he has been engaged in the fundamental theory and application research of intelligent transportation, Developed the first generation digital traffic accident scene investigation system, the first generation of mobile electronic police devices, the first generation of embedded smart camera and multi-functional electronic police system. In recent years, his research interest is focusing on fields of Machine Learning, Automatic Driving, UAV and so on.
